Server Before Match Time
I'm not sure if this is a rule, if it's ever been brought up before, or if it's something that is seen as a non-issue by most; just thought I'd bring it up for discussion. I'm all for pugging, but I think the server should remain empty for at least 15 minutes before a match, if not 30 minutes. Yesterday we had a match at 8:00 est and the people in the server at the time decided to start a 6v6 pug at 7:49. The server was full until 8:00 on the dot. Just thought it was a little silly to start a pug knowing you only have a max of 11 minutes to play. I personally feel as if it would be a nice thing to have the server free to the teams coming in for the match to hit the ball around, speak to one another, etc. I get we can reserve server time and all of that good stuff, and I also realize it's a little different now because we're only operating on one server and obviously people would like to play - especially those not in the upcoming match. Just thought I'd put my $.02 in.

I understand your logic Maxi, but that was 2nd half of that pug starting at 7:49. Still should of maybe ended but it wasn't like they started a brand new one. The pug started when it was 40 minutes until the match and they tried to squeeze it in.

My mistake on the specifics then. Either way, the overall message behind it still sticks

I don't agree with you on this one. There's a PSL vent for you to be able to talk to each other if you want to. BH also has a public server, if I'm not mistaken, that you can join to just hit the ball around. You should have your 6 ready by match time, people should know about the match time and should be there. If you guys really wanted to "warmup" and just talk to each other, you can all find a public server to go to, or go in the vent to talk.Maximus wrote:I'm not sure if this is a rule, if it's ever been brought up before, or if it's something that is seen as a non-issue by most; just thought I'd bring it up for discussion. As bryy said, it was the second half of the pug that started at 7:20, and people know about matches, they never start a pug with less than 30 minutes left until a match has to be started.
