AFK for a bit.

Been kinda MIA for the past while now as I've gone off to school. Just making this post basically saying I'm not going to be PUGing for a while. Juggling 30 hours of class + nearly as much homework time out of class a week, two intermural sports, and extracurricular mingling doesn't leave much time for video games let alone PUGing. Even before I went to school I was hardly PUGing very often, and pretty much only played CSS soccer for matches. You'll probably see me playing some other games on steam from time to time so feel free to message me or anything of the like, but I doubt I'm going to be PUGing at all just because I don't really have time to sit down for an hour straight to play games very often. I may or may not start PUGing again around Christmas and/or April when I'm back from school, but there's also a possibly that I won't start up back again, but even if I do I doubt it will be nearly as much as I used to. Kind of just wanted to post this here because I don't want to be one of those guys that just slowly stops playing and you never hear from him again.

But as Nad said before this game keeps bringing all of us back year after year, so chances are you'll see me again eventually. Also quoting the ever knowledgeable source, Mr. Nad, this community (as we call it) is really something. I've known most of you longer than I've known a lot of my friends in real life. I started playing this game when I was 13 fucking years old, not even in high-school yet. Complain year after year about how it's run and how the league is dying, but to have a community managed league run for so long by pure volunteer (for lack of the better word) work from elected individuals inside the community is really amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a more democratic type set up in an online community, with leaders that rarely, if ever, abuse their power. Want to just give shoutouts to all the people who have made the league able to run all these years, Panda, Dill, KC, Steve Jobs, my grandmother, all of the LOs or community members who have contributed over the years (because I know I'm gunna forget a few important people), and of course Stinger. Don't want to diminish anyone else's contribution but Stinger, you've single handily ran this league for the past few years. I know you'll probably say "It's not just me, but all the LOs give a hand in helping." But it's not just through the actual work you do, the way you're able to lead all of the LOs and keep everything in order is amazing. This was evident in the season that you took a season off and everything just went to shit. You three that I listed before, you all really were key in handling things before I really started playing too often, in the SSL, so thank you all for that too.

Going to wrap this all off by saying if I do decide to return, this league better not be dead.

Heh, it's also an odd coincidence that I'm making this post on the three year anniversary of my join date on this forums (also pretty coincidental that I even saw that).
