Fail Ref
So inter and jb tied today, and Face Melter was our ref.
After the match ended, face told us theres no golden goal, so our entire team left. Most went afk and then a few minutes later we all get pm's saying that we are playing golden goal. Well thats no good if none of our players are online anymore -.-

Re: Fail Ref
I think Fatal's suggestion is best, but obviously it will have to be decided by the caps of the teams. His suggestion was to play the golden when you guys play your Round 2 game.

To make this somewhat official.....can Shadow and Toni please confirm the following:
The JB v. Inter Round 1 Golden Goal will be played at the start of the JB v. Inter Round 2 game.
Sound good?

I'm ok having Inter play JB on round 2, but at the end of the already scheduled game...

Re: Fail Ref
The only reason I'm against the GG happening at the end of the game is because of momentum.
Say Inter wins the Round 2 game, 8-1...they would have all sorts of momentum going into the "GG" from the Round 1 game. If we just play it first thing, although we aren't "warmed up", neither team will have any advantage or confidence boost from winning.
What do you think?

Re: Fail Ref
Yes but you could also go with that to say that whoever wins the gg has momentum going into the round 2 match if you choose to use that logic. I would prefer to play the gg after the match.

Re: Fail Ref
christ.
why not schedule the gg for an hour before the match?
edit: NO, you know what, I'm not done here.
No matter when we play this golden goal, by the momentum logic either you're going to say:
1) The team will have momentum after the game from already playing that team, OR
2) The team HAS momentum from scoring 1 goal at the beginning.
Any outcome you`re going to schedule on the same day will obviously have that problem. Why not schedule it for a day both teams dont play, and finish the gg say after the second match at 9 on the server.
What about Thursday, its the end of round 1, no more games to come to just fuckin` cripple each other with momentum.
By tying the last game you have NO momentum, therefore making for a fair game on Thursday. The GG won`t be biased because everyone will be rusty.
tl;dr: Play GG Thursday after the match at 8, also never wanna hear the word momentum again
