December - January Giveaway?

As we wrap this year up i would like to take advantage of this going to be cold weather. As of December i will give a prize to someone every week . I would like to make it the most goals in a pug per week for the first weeks prize... Heres the catch , i need help with prize ideas . so feel free to mention what you would like to see as a prize and/or weekly contest ideas . Smile

I only voted no because of the competition itself, not the idea of giving prizes. I personally don't think giving players an incentive to take pugs more serious + competitively is a good idea. I sense a lot of raging / sniping / super try harding that pugging shouldn't involve.

I agree, plus whoever is captain gets to put himself/herself in the best positions for just all out scoring and the forwards probably won't even bother trying to pass to each other at all. Other then that it's a good/generous idea.

so a skills challenge would be better. ? thats why i started vote now is so we can make decisions in time. if you cant think of a better way to win prizes . feel free too comment . But so far i see A Skills Challenge?

I think a skills competition would be pretty cool. Using the video Panda posted + my attempt for the PSL skills challenge in s1 ( https://pslsite.forumotion.com/t24-skills-tournament ) as well as new ideas I think we could have a good amount of events that people would enjoy.

Would come down to how many people are interested in actually doing it though. But you could count me in Very Happy

A vote for what? :O Whats the competition? I saw you had messaged me on steam about a potential prize for the 2v2 tourney but was afk Sad

I also had the idea today that I could add a 'Pugs played' stat that would keep track of how many pugs each person plays, could give the prize that way too.

Let me know what you wanna do.

I like that idea, would increase activity and makes it so anyone can win the prize; even if you're not good.

I'd rather you make a prize pool for the winning team of the next soccer season. If it is good enough it can hopefully encourage more players to stay active and for teams to not die off midway through the season. I personally think that if the auction draft gives way to relatively fair teams, then we should put more effort into the league games.

But this is all just a pipe dream anyway.
