u give them a week to schedule the match and play it and by next week if they havent played that match then both teams get a forfeit. If both teams cant decide on a day then they can play on a default day in the week, something the LO'S would have to decide upon. The only problem is, aren't there two matches a week?

Another problem is say we have 6 teams, with 2 matches per week. That's 6 matches. With reg CSS leagues, every clan has their own server I believe. We have one server to rent out 6 times every week, and availability between teams could overlap.

To fix this - The first teams to post their agreed upon playing time get that playing time. First come first serve. Then the other teams would have to schedule around it.

I think this "schedule your own match" idea will be hit or miss. It could be a huge success or it could turn out like the playoffs. However, I agree in that there's no harm in giving it a shot and I hope it works.

hopefully the pre-season is longer than last seasons, and will give us time to make changes before the acctual season starts

A regular season would bring back the tradition and the ability to build your own team from scratch. Of course you're going to get powerhouses but I think the potential is there if people choose wisely to be competitive. Also if a few vets man up and pick up some of the newer guys flowing in, they'd get the shit kicked out of them. Hopefully if the team stuck around they'd improve, if not they break up and the players who improved dissolve into other teams. That is the idea at least. I guess it could work either way, but I'd really enjoy a regular season to fight some inactivity and not struggle through a draft season.

I'm all over it, I want to put together a team that doesn't care about winning/loosing. Just want a group of players who are chill, want to have a good time, and improve their skills.
